A5 Oriental "Thank You" ...

... made again using the Cup Cake Crafting Oriental CD ... but this time, it is a decoupaged image of a white peony ... I just loved this image, and the backing paper printed on vellum, was just so lovely. I also used a piece of the backing paper on the inside of the card, just for a contrast. Brads hold the vellum on the front of the card. A sentiment is put on 3D pads to raise it up a bit.

"You Make My Day Awards" ...

... don't know how I managed this, but have been nominated three times!! I don't believe I deserve it, but I am all the same very grateful to the following people : Rainbow Lady (Cynthia), Lavender Rose (Sue - I think!) and Ann Whitfield. These people so inspire me too, but I guess I will have to find others to nominate.
The plan is to
1) Write a post with links to 5 blogs you find of interest and that inspire you.
2) Acknowledge the post of the award giver.
3) Display the logo 'You make my day'
4) tell the award winners that they have won by commenting on their blogs with the news.
Well done to you all and have a great day!

Engagement card ...

... for a young couple. A4 cream hammered card folded into an odd shape!!! A heart from the Glitter Girls Romance board, with the centre cut out and a bunch of roses stuck behind. The embossed lines are also from the Romance board. A few peel-offs to finish it off. I have also made a box and used flowers and leaves from the Bookatrix board and a bow from the Illusion board.

Diamond anniversary commission ...

... made using the Glitter Girls Bookatrix board. The box was used making the M&F board and the Bookatrix board for the window. Each of the layers in the Bookatrix have been photographed separately before I stuck them together. The bottom layer has a pair of glasses from the Glitter Girls Celebration board, embellished with white gems. The middle layer has a silhouette couple from Joanna Sheen's Dancing With Shadows CD, and a heart from the Celebration board topped with a heart gem. The top layer has a different heart, but again from the Celebration board and a photo of the couple in the centre. On the other side is a diamond embossed using the Romance board, a 60th numbers, flower and a ribbon. When they are all stuck together a big white ribbon was tied round it. The box is finished off with some flowers from the Majestic board, leaves from the Bookatrix board and some peel-offs. And the finished card in its box is pictured.
