... all are A5. One of the "Thinking of You" cards is for my Dad and is made using an image and background paper from Joanna Sheen's American Frontier CD - I have decoupaged the Native American with one layer. Finished off with an image of beadwork, a feather and peel-offs. The other "Thinking of You" card is made using an image and background paper from Jayne Netley Mayhew's CD from Joanna Sheen, and the cat has been decoupaged as well. This card is for my Aunt. It is finished off with an organza ribbon, gems and peel-offs. The final card is for a friend, who kindly did something very special - so I made the Art Deco card with an image and background taken from the Creative Cards Plus CD. Again this has been decoupaged with layers of the same image, finished off with a feather, 3 gems, a ribbon from the CD and peel-offs. Thanks for popping by. (Apologies for photos ... having to use flash!)
... board from the Glitter Girls. Used a couple of different Messy Rabbit sets here, coloured using Lyra Aquacolours from Joanna Sheen. The card is made using hexagon from the Bookafleur board embossed onto cream pearlescent card, and the next layer in dark green card. Finished off with peel-offs and organza ribbon. Box is green mirri board with leaves and roses embossed also from the Bookafleur and finished off with rose buds.
... both are on A6 blue card, with different backgrounds from Pad 2. Various images from the "Messy Rabbit" range. Coloured as before using Lyra watercolours. Finished off with peel-offs. Apologies for light, but had to use the flash. Thanks for dropping by.
... A6 cream linen, with half of one of the background sheets from pad 2 and 'Messy rabbit' and bits from various sets. Bees stamped and made a mess ... grrrrrr .... my fault ... will have to practice my stamping technique. Coloured in using Lyra crayons from Joanna Sheen. The sentiment will continue inside with ... "thinking about you". This card is for a friend. Thanks for looking.
... needed this weekend. OK, because we had a tidy up the inspiration has taken a walk ... hence the very simple cards. Both are A6 with images from Joanna Sheen's CD's ... one is from Dancing with Shadows, and the other is from Victorian Romance. The shapes and mats are all done using Wizard dies. Finished off with peel-offs, pearls and gems.
... not quite completed ... Tess got the 'ump (as did Zoe before her!) because I was using my Wizard die cutting machine. I used the Wizard to cut the photos and the letters. The photos chart her progress with us so far ... the first picture is the day we got her, and the last picture is the most recent. I hope that you can see how she has changed ... and hopefully for the better. Thanks for looking.
"Lavendar Rose" aka Denise, very kindly awarded my this award, for which I am very grateful, because I don't feel that my work is worthy!!! So thank you from the bottom of my heart. I now have the pleasure of passing it on ... I will get my thinking cap on!!

Thank you again Denise, much appreciated.
Right ... sorry for the delay .... but here are my five nominees:
... the new Glitter Girl's Bookafleur Cornucopia board. It is a very simple octagon card in cream with an embossed "sunflower", layered with pale green leaves. Everything is from the board. (Apologies for lack of colour ... bad light, and flash makes it look too bright!). Thanks for looking in.
... A5 embossed using the Glitter Girls Cornucopia board. I then painted it using H2O's ... there is actually iridescent pink in the petals, and iridescent green on the leaves, and stalks. The embellishment of silver and purple mirri board is also embossed from the same board, and layered. Finished off with an organza ribbon bow, butterflies and some peel-offs.
... zig-zag shaped for a change of scenery!!! It is made using mirri card and embossed on the Glitter Girls Majestic board, acetate and a bouquet using a thistle, jewels, pearls, leaves and heart embellishments. Finished off with peel-offs and an organza ribbon. My hubby says it reminds him of a bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk!!!
... for a dear friend who is in hospital after an accident. A6 brown card with poseable Wizard teddies, coloured with crayons. Finished off with peel-offs and lines embossed using my M&F board from Coppernob.
... anniversary card. As you probably noticed my card making has suffered lately from lack of inspiration!!! I made this today in about 1/2 hour flat, as the anniversary was yesterday and it was the only idea I could come up with in a hurry! It is an A6 brown card with Wizard die cut leaves and finished off with peel-offs. Thanks for looking at my effort!!!
... for the reason my brain cell (creative genius ... hmmm!) seems to have gone walkabout, and I had forgotten all three of these anniversaries ... having been so rough with a cough for well over 3 months!!! So I ended up using part of a kit to make these cards. Apologies for losing my card making abilities, and hopefully it will return forthwith (or there will be trouble)!!! Thanks for looking!!
... star card ... for two very special people!!! A6 red card, with images from Joanna Sheen's Hollywood CD, and all the stars are made by using Wizard star nestabilities. Three gems to finish it off. Thanks for looking.
... anniversary card. A5 linen card and background printed on from Joanna Sheen's Oriental Dreams, as is the image which has been matted onto gold mirri card. Label made using Wizard die. Finished off with red organza ribbon, gems and peel-offs. Thanks for looking.
... using an image from Joanna Sheen's Hollywood CD. Adhered to a cream linen card. All the shapes are made using Wizard dies. Finished off with red organza ribbon, peel-offs and gems. I have had a real blockage for card making, so this is my first attempt for AGES. Thanks for looking.
... some of you really bright people (which I know you all are) will notice that a theme seems to be developing here ... lol!!! Again this is A5, but this time it is burgundy silk, with Wizard hearts (silver mirri card) and rings (gold mirri card), bride and groom toppers, flowers, organza ribbon, feathers and peel-offs. The photographs are of the right side and the left side ... again can't seem to photograph it all at once!!
... A5 red mirri board ... embossed with Glitter Girl's boards for the background. Wizard hearts (burgundy card) and labels (gold mirri), peel-offs, feathers, flowers, organza ribbon and pearls. The big heart has also been embossed using the heart Cuttlebug. The pictures are of the left side and the right side ... can't seem to photograph them both together!!!
Sorry I have not put anything on here for ages, but my fibromyalgia has been giving me severe jip!!! Thanks for dropping by.
... "Congratulations" card. The image is from this fabulous CD of Joanna Sheen's. I have also used a Wizard Edgeability Die and painted the embossed bamboo and leaves with H2O's. Thank you for looking.
... for the friend who adores all the animals, but particularly the big cats, zebras and giraffes. So I printed these four images from the Jayne Netley Mayhew CD and put them in a frame. Hope she likes it. Thanks for looking.
... similar but different to the one I did the other day ... using up the leftovers from the topper sheet for a friend's anniversary ... and she really adores her animal prints!! This card is A5 and the images and backing paper are from the Jayne Netley Mayhew CD. Matted onto gold mirri card using Wizard nestabilities. The middle image is also decoupaged. A Wizard tag to finish it off and also peel-offs and gems. Thanks for looking.
... card for a friend, who needs cheering up. I hope this does the trick!!! It is A5 and the image and background paper are both from Jayne Netley Mayhew's CD. I printed the image onto a pale tan cardstock, and the background is printed onto a shimmery paper, so that it sparkles slightly. Picture and sentiment both matted onto gold mirri card. A Wizard embellishment to finish it off, with a few gems.
... for my Dad. He has just briefly visited us and this is a "thank you" card for him. It is A6 linen card. The image is from Joanna Sheen's Hollywood CD. The film strip is a Wizard die cut. Finished off with peel-offs.
... commissioned anniversary cards ... both A6 ... one is similar to one I did last week (only half the size and slightly different colours), and the other is using an image from Joanna Sheen's Hollywood CD. Hope you like them.
... all A5 ... one is from Joanna Sheen's Dancing With Shadows, both the image and the background paper (I think?!), and the other two are made using Glitter Girls boards. The notes on the DWS one are die cut using a Quickutz die. The orange, green and yellow card is made using the GG Fascination board and finished off with gems and peel-offs. The lilac one is using both the Romance and Majestic boards, and finished off with gems, baby's breath flowers, Wizard hearts and peel-offs.
