I made this card not only for the challenge, but because it is also our 16th Anniversary on Sunday!! So I thought what a great opportunity to combine the two.
I make this A5 card using the Joanna Sheen Hollywood CD, and the picture is on a background of cuttlebug heart embossed on silver mirri card! A little piece of mirri card corner stamped on two sides with a heart and a piece of card inserted with 'Happy Anniversary' on it!!
A6 white tapestry card with diamond embossed on the front using the Glitter Girls Romance board and layering up with a second layer which was embellished with 4 diamonds and the background was some of the Royal Stewart Tartan as requested. A white rose bunch with organza ribbon bow. Paisley tartan embellishments made using Cuttlebug dies. (Loved these.) The insert is a Cuttlebug (surprise, surprise) champagne glasses embossed on vellum and stuck on to some tartan. Embellished with peel-offs. The back was just finished off with a piece of diamond tartan with a handmadepeel-off.
... combining this with a thank you card, that I needed to do for some friends.
The card is A6, embossed with cuttlebug and decorated with Bosskut flowers, leaves and swirls. It is finished off with gems in the middle of the flowers and a wood effect slider and ribbon with thanks in beads on it.
I used the 'framey' board from the Glitter Girls for the basic shape down the centre. Flowersoft was used to cover the body of the sheep (which was a cut down Quickutz die flower). The grass and sun are also Quickutz dies.
This is for an older male friend who has had a fall ... this is on an A6 gatefold blue tapestry card, with a Cuttlebug divine swirl background rubbed with gold ink, and embellished with two Wizard Chinese coins.
