Heart Anniversary Card ...



... A5 red mirri board ... embossed with Glitter Girl's boards for the background. Wizard hearts (burgundy card) and labels (gold mirri), peel-offs, feathers, flowers, organza ribbon and pearls. The big heart has also been embossed using the heart Cuttlebug. The pictures are of the left side and the right side ... can't seem to photograph them both together!!!

Sorry I have not put anything on here for ages, but my fibromyalgia has been giving me severe jip!!! Thanks for dropping by.

A JNM Anniversary card ...


... similar but different to the one I did the other day ... using up the leftovers from the topper sheet for a friend's anniversary ... and she really adores her animal prints!! This card is A5 and the images and backing paper are from the Jayne Netley Mayhew CD. Matted onto gold mirri card using Wizard nestabilities. The middle image is also decoupaged. A Wizard tag to finish it off and also peel-offs and gems. Thanks for looking.

"Thinking of You" ...


... card for a friend, who needs cheering up. I hope this does the trick!!! It is A5 and the image and background paper are both from Jayne Netley Mayhew's CD. I printed the image onto a pale tan cardstock, and the background is printed onto a shimmery paper, so that it sparkles slightly. Picture and sentiment both matted onto gold mirri card. A Wizard embellishment to finish it off, with a few gems.

Three Anniversary Cards ...




... all A5 ... one is from Joanna Sheen's Dancing With Shadows, both the image and the background paper (I think?!), and the other two are made using Glitter Girls boards. The notes on the DWS one are die cut using a Quickutz die. The orange, green and yellow card is made using the GG Fascination board and finished off with gems and peel-offs. The lilac one is using both the Romance and Majestic boards, and finished off with gems, baby's breath flowers, Wizard hearts and peel-offs.

Two "thank you" cards ...





... one is for a lady, to say "thank you" for some books, and the other is for a man. The lady's one (A6) is made using all Wizard dies, and finished off with gems and peel-offs. The man's one (A5) is from Joanna Sheen's Oriental Dreams CD ... again finished off with gems and peel-offs and a Wizard tag. Front and back of both cards are shown (sorry for the 'wonky' pictures!). Fish Thank You card ...



... for someone who kindly gave us some fresh caught trout yesterday evening, already filleted (thank goodness, I can't stand doing that!). Guess what is for supper tonight?!?!

This is an A5 gatefold card in pale blue. The background and the seagulls are from Joanna Sheen's Oriental Dreams CD. One of the fish is from Jayne Netley Mayhew's CD. The other fish and the flies are from a Wizard die. The sun and grass are cut from foam using Quickutz dies. A fishing rod is made from a BBQ skewer and some gold thread for the line to complete it. New Home ...


... card for a young couple who have just got their first flat. A6 yellow card, brown background matted with gold mirri card. The base card was embossed with Cuttlebug bubbles. Wizard keys, heart padlock and buttons, and a Cuttlebug slider. Finished off with peel-offs, brad and some silver thread in the buttons.

"Thinking of You" ...



... card for some friends. It image is from the Jayne Netley Mayhew CD. The complimentary background was printed directly from the same CD onto a piece of A4 white card. I matted the picture using silver mirri card and nestabilities. The label is also made using a Wizard die and silver mirri card, finished with peel-offs and a gem. My "signature" three gems in the top corner and an organza ribbon to complete it. I have photographed the front and the back. Thanks for looking.

Two Sympathy Cards ...



... one for the wife of a friend who lost her husband, and one for his mother. Both are printed on A5 and the images come from Oriental Origins CD from Cupcake Crafts. Finished off very simply with gems and peel-offs.

Commissioned Wedding Card ...



... the brief was "neat and simple". A6 white linen card with an image from Joanna Sheen's Hollywood CD of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers printed onto linen card and matted onto silver mirri card. Words also printed onto linen card and matted on silver mirri. Finished off with organza ribbon and pearls. Photographed both front and back.

Wedding Invitations ...





... that I have been making for the last few days ... 86 in total ... 33 day time ones (Wedding and Reception) ... these are A5 in size ... and 53 evening invites for the party ... these are A6. Both are cream with tartan ribbon and buckles ... big or small and the night time ones have a Wizard butterfly on them. I have deleted the detail from the day time invite but hope you like them all the same. There is a picture of the outside and inside of each one.
PS ... Have done another 20 night-time invites since this was posted!!!

... for my dearly beloved husband. A4 green card with an image from the Jane Netley Mayhew CD, embossed with tumbling hearts from Glitter Girls Celebration board and a silver peel-off. The background sheet is also from the same CD and it has had a border punch used all the way round.

First Jayne Netley Mayhew card ...


Well, this was difficult ... what to do first and which image to choose. So, as I needed to do a thank you card for my Dad, and he is into boats ... I thought this would do the trick. Hope you like it, and thanks for taking the time to look. It is A5. The image, shells and ribbon are all from the aforementioned CD. Topped off with peel-offs and a nestability oval, and buckle.

Yet another "Thank You" card ...


... this is A6 with a fold at the bottom to hold a "Gift Card" inside, in pale pink. The flowers are made using Wizard Nestabilities in mulberry paper of lilac, pink and lemon. The embossing was from the Glitter Girls Majestic board, and leaves from the Bookatrix board. Finished off with gems and peel-offs.

... for a friend who has invited me to her house for a girly night tomorrow evening!!! It is a DL card with a backing paper from Joanna Sheen's "Animal Antics" CD, Wizard scalloped squares in gold mirri and toppers from Tesco!!!! Peel-offs and my signature gems to finish it off!!

"Thinking of You" ...


... card for a young friend who is unwell. An A5 card with a beautiful large lilac jigsaw piece (given to me by a very special friend). This has been Cuttlebug'ed and the centre taken out. A Wizard scalloped circle nestability is gold mirri and has been spirellied and 3D on the centre. The butterfly is also a Wizard die which has been coloured using ink pads. Finished off with a peel-off and pink ribbon.

... card from Joanna Sheen's Egyptian CD. It is A5 and has been matted onto gold mirri card. An embossed section using the Glitter Girls Framey board, and green gems put in the circles. A corner embellishment in gold mirri card using a Wizard die, and finished off with copper peel-offs.

Sympathy Card ...


... made with an image from Joanna Sheen's Victorian Companion 3 CD set. This A5 card is for a friend who has just lost her Mum. The picture was printed on satin paper and cut on a jigsaw die, stuck onto silver mirri. I was thinking the picture looks like someone reflecting, and the mirri card also reflects (strange brain I have!) The corner embellishment and the tag are both made using Wizard dies in silver mirri card. Finished off with a yellow brad to hold on the tag, 3 clear gems and gold peel-off letters.
