... yesterday ... I was given a "You Make My Day Award" by Edna (Rosietoes) ... what a lovely thing to do. I would like to say that Edna is also an inspiration too with her lovely cards. So many thanks Edna, it really is appreciated.
... made as a thank you to the person who kindly fixed my car, after the door stay was snapped in high wind!! There are two pictures ... one on its own and one on the bottle of scotch as the gift!!
... requested especially by the customer for her cousin as she had seen one I had made before. I find these difficult to photograph anyway, but mirri card added to the problem!
... from two different members of the same family. The first one is made using the Glitter Girls Elegance and Fantasy board. The images are from Joanna Sheen's Dancing With Shadows CD. Finished off with gems, organza bow and peel-offs. The other card is A6 with scalloped squares of two different sizes made using Wizard dies. One has a cuttlebug embossed champagne glasses on it. Finished off with a bow, pearls and peel-offs. Corners have been punched with a Corner Adorner, and folded back.
... for different people. One is made using the Glitter Girls Open Hearts board in yellow and tartan. There are two layers, and I photographed the bottom layer before gluing them together. The other is an A5 card with a heart aperature with an image from Joanna Sheen's Oriental Dreams CD printed onto vellum.
... card for my hairdresser!!! Made from the "Everyday" kit I bought from Create and Craft last July. Just chalked the embossed features of the card and decoupaged a basket on the teddy and the circle which I stuck a "Thanks" peel off on.
... anniversary card. Just found out that I had missed someone's anniversary, so quickly made this A6 card using the flower from the Glitter Girl's Bookatrix board, Wizard butterfly, a few gems, a punched flower and peel-offs.
... requested by my AJ (Aunt Joan) as she couldn't find the card she wanted for a man (who just happens to be my Dad!!!). One is an A6 card is made using an image from Joanna Sheen's Egyptian CD, and backing paper from Dancing With Shadows. The picture is matted onto silver mirri card, finished off with buttons and peel-offs. The other is also A6 with an image and backing sheet from Joanna Sheen's Dancing With Shadows CD. Finished with 3 gems. I couldn't make up my mind which one to send, so decided I would send them both to AJ and she can make the decision!!!
... thank you, to a very special person who has given me invaluable help and advice recently. The image and backing papers are from Joanna Sheen's Fashion Boutique CD. Finished off with an acetate perfume bottle, two Wizard corners and some peel-offs.
... know of two people who have just passed their driving tests this week ... so made these similar but different cards. Used cuttlebug embossing folders (for the sentiments), wizard scalloped squares, sizzlet car, Quickutz key and traffic lights, Glitter Girls embossing boards for borders.
... and was requested to make something as a reminder of the china anniversary. So managed to get my hands on the Wendy Stenton teapot template. Found some oriental type papers from the Cupcake Creations Oriental CD. Finished off with a Wizard scalloped nestability, a few peel-offs and hey presto!!
... made using A5 silver mirri card, with a CD on the front, and a decoupaged lily from Cupcake Creations Oriental CD. The embossing is done using the Glitter Girls border bars. Finished off with peel-offs.
