Richard and Morna Thank You card ...

... made this for friends today.

Used the Coppernob M&F board to create this card, the instructions being on Coppernob's CD. The pictures are from Joanna Sheen's Oriental Dreams CD. The sliders are made using Cuttlebug die cuts. The seagulls are from a Sizzilit die cut.

Pyramid Star Card ...

... made this today using the Coppernob IMP board and the complementary CD, as someone was mentioning them the other day on a forum, so I thought I would make one.

I haven't embellished it yet, as I have yet to decide on the subject.

The front and back of the card is made from a fake wood card.

A simple "New Home" card ...

An Anniversary Card ...

... for some friends for their 21st Wedding Anniversary.

It is the wavy oval
and bow from the new Majestic board from the Glitter Girls, embossed onto 3d'd green mirri card, with peel-offs round the edges. Corner punched too. A small bunch of flowers embellish it. Inside I used one of the Glitter Girls Victorian border bars and embellished with jewels.

Zoe's Thank You card ...

... to the groomer. It is my extra treat for Zoe as she deserves an extra pampering session after being so good during her recent operation, etc.

It is an image from Joanna Sheen's Oriental Dreams CD. The background paper (orange) is from Joanna Sheen's 'warm' watermark pad. I have added some flower soft to some of the snow, and three jewels in the middle as it seemed a bit empty. It is finished off with a dark green ribbon and mock wood buckle made using a Wizard die cut and embossed too.

... made out of ivory tapestry card, using the Glitter Girls fan
board.

I cut some extra fan panes out in pink tapestry card and raised them up on foam pads. Added a rose and an organza bow. Finished off with a few peel offs.

... needed by a friend ... so used a familiar theme, but with a twist. Front and back shown here, the insert was the same as previously.

Thank You Card ...

... for a friend who has helped me out recently. They breed chickens and ducks, so thought that the 'Cluck' the chicken on Sharon Duncan's Farmyard Friends CD would be something a bit different.

The card is A5 printed on both sides with different background papers. On the front is a tea bag design and a decoupage of two hens with 'thanks' on the banner between them.

Another Get Well Soon Card ...

... made from Joanna Sheen's Oriental Dreams CD.

Again it is a 5" square card with
a buckle and glitzy ribbon. I have shown views of the front, inside and back of the card.

Baby's shoe ...

... I made today from a template given to my by Andy which is on his "CD for a friend". The paper is also on the CD, and the buckle I embossed with silver embossing powder. It also has a foam sole.

Get well soon card ...

... for a friends father who is in hospital awaiting a heart operation.

This is a 5" square card. I printed two different backing sheets from Joanna Sheen's Oriental Dreams CD, and they are the ones that complement the seagull and seascape topper on either sides of a piece of white card. The topper was printed onto gloss photo paper. The insert was also from the same set, as was the image on the back. I would have liked a wider ribbon for the buckle, but it was the only blue ribbon I had.

A simple thank you card ...

... made for a friend. I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder for the 'thank you's', and the Glitter Girls Majestic board for the background. The embellishments were a two-tone paper rose with pearls and a bow.

Two cards for today ...

... one is for a friend who has just had a few days tests at Addenbrooks, and is now heading back home. It is a gatefold card with flower soft bouquet. The backing paper is from Sharon Duncan's Farmyard Animals CD.

The other card is for wedding rejection - made on the Glitter Girls Majestic board. I used tapestry paper in three different colours, embellished with three diamante's and a pink bow.

Tux Card

I was asked to make this by a friend last night. I got the instructions from a CD by Coppernob that gives excellent directions. This card is from two pieces of A5 dark blue linen card, but it ends up as A6. The bow tie is made up of two punched out hearts. The frill is a border punch (sorry, it isn't very clear in this picture!). Embellished with a small white rose in the button hole and a button at the bottom - it is held together by a Velcro dot.

Scrap Magic Cards

These were my first attempts at making Scrap Magic cards. The rose one was the first,
and all things considered I am very pleased with it.

The ship card is made using an image from Joanna Sheen's Victorian Companion 3 CD set - and I find this quite a popular image to use for men.
